My name is Tamara and I have decided to give my try at blogging with “The Wine-us Life”. It’s a blog about my overall lifestyle along with my husband, Chuck, including some of our favorite things, trips we’ve taken, my life with Ulcerative Colitis, and becoming a mom later in life….and of course some wine! We are currently giving a shot at some homemade wine and are in the planning stages of putting in a small back yard vineyard.
I decided on the name The Wine-us Life as it is a play on our last name, plus I love wine! There is a cute story behind the name as well which took place on our first trip together back when we were dating. A little about myself, I’m in my mid/late-30’s and have been married since the fall of 2017. I had my first child in the “advance maternal age”…that’s what you are referred to when over 35 lol. I also have Ulcerative Colitis which can be challenging at times. I was diagnosed in my early 20s. My disease can create some challenges in life and some concern as I wanted to not only become pregnant but as a parent with an active child. We have recently moved to an old farm house with the hope to build in the near future on our property. The move added a few extra challenges.
